Atul Syal, M.D.

Dr. Atul Syal is a board certified neurologist with a fellowship training in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. Dr. Syal did his medical schooling at Government Medical College in Amritsar, India. He completed his neurology residency followed by a fellowship in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology at the University of Cincinnati Medical center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Syal has served on the Board of Directors for the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona, the American Heart Association (Phoenix Chapter), and the  American Stroke Association (Phoenix Division). One of Dr. Syal’s main interests is treating patients with seizure disorders. He also treats patients with several other neurological conditions, such as dementia, neuropathies, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, stroke, headaches, etc. Dr. Syal won the Top Doc award by Phoenix Magazine in 2016. As of April 2017, Dr. Syal received his endorsement for faculty title at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at the College of Medicine – Phoenix.
